Workshop Description: Dive into a world of color and explore how paint can be used to enhance your leatherwork. Learn how you can mix an endless variety of colors without having to spend a fortune on paints. Deepen your understanding of color theory as it applies to leatherwork to discuss how to plan for the use of color in your projects. Bring your paints and brushes and be ready to mix things up!
Materials to bring: Acrylic paints* (any and all that you have), fine paint brushes, and a paint palette/mixing tray. *Contact instructor prior to class for a suggested color list at wsh.bruton@gmail.com.
Workshop Instructor: Sarah Garvey is a full-time leather artist specializing in intricately tooled purses and accessories. A single mom of two, she has been designing and creating under her brand, Western Skies Handmade, since 2008. With a background as a classically trained musician, Sarah’s distinct style elevates traditional craft with a fresh blend of classical and modern designs.

• There is a $25 administration fee for canceling a workshop.
• The cost of each workshop will be refunded minus the $25 fee.
