Workshop Description: This Workshop will focus on the techniques used to create the antiqued Old Glory flag. Using different dyes and brushes, Serina will help you recreate this new flag made to look old! Each class member will create a flag on their own to take home to use on something if you wish. You may choose just to frame it too!!
Materials to bring: Notebook taking materials, Tandy Craftool classic star stamp size 054, mallet or maul, stamping stone, 2 small flat (#4 and #1 or about 1/4″ and 1/8″ wide) paint brushes, ruler, modeling spoon, apron, disposable gloves, and headlamp or magnifier if needed.
Workshop Instructor: Serina began playing with leather in 2009, being self taught until she attended her first leather show in Prescott in 2015. Her eyes were opened up to so much! Serina lives in Central California where she creates her leather goods. Serina is also on a team of bag makers who put on many classes through Zoom online each year. Serina and her husband live on a small farm where they raise many animals. She loves to spend time with her 8 grandchildren, going to their many sporting events, visiting family in other states, trail riding, loving on animals and woodworking.
