Workshop Description: In this 3-hour class, Annie will demonstrate the techniques she uses to sculpt veg-tan leather, including shaping by hand, molding leather over forms, and working over wire. If you want to step up your leather shaping skills and make amazing 3-D work to stand on its own or incorporate into other projects, this is the class for you!
Materials to bring: Note taking materials and cameras are welcome.
Workshop Instructor: Annie Libertini is an award-winning leather artist living in Spokane, WA. Her leather masks and other work have been featured on television on Once Upon a Time, Z Nation, and Gotham, as well as in many photo shoots and theater productions in the U.S. and beyond. Annie travels to teach leather crafting workshops all over the country as well as teaching online at elktracksstudio.com. She was the 2023 recipient of the Al Stohlman Award for Achievement in Leathercraft. More information about her work can be found at www.annielibertini.com.
