Workshop Description: You will make a very professional laptop bag which features lining and padding as well as zippers and piping. It will be a fun day of getting comfortable with sewing machines and learning some refinement skills that can be applied to making any bag. {You’ll be using COBRA Class 18 and Class 20 sewing machines and the COBRA NP4 bell knife skiver; if you are interested in purchasing COBRA equipment at the show, call Leather Machine Company by February 1 to pre-order at +1 (866) 962-9880. Deposit required.}
Materials to bring: Note taking materials, scissors, rivet setting tools, 1/8″ hole punch, punching board, mallet, zipper tools. If you do not have some or any of these items, there will be several to pass around.
Workshop Instructor: Aaron Heizer has been working with leather since 2001. While in the army, stationed all over the world, he found that it was a hobby he could take with him to most places. He is now retired from the Army and owns Maker’s Leather Supply in Elm Mott, Texas. Aaron also operates under the business name of Heizer’s Custom Leather, making custom leather goods, and regularly hosts live Facebook how-to videos.

• There is a $25 administration fee for canceling a workshop.
• The cost of each workshop will be refunded minus the $25 fee.
