Workshop Description: Learn how to create clean, technical, and professional leather patterns using Inkscape with Swift of Swift Hammer Leather! This beginner-friendly class is perfect for leatherworkers who struggle with the design phase or feel overwhelmed by digital tools. Swift will cut out the guesswork and hours of self-teaching by walking you through his intuitive, efficient workflow — blending digital precision with classic analog methods like paper and pencil. You’ll learn time-saving tricks, easy-to-follow steps, and ways to keep your creative process feeling natural while leveling up your pattern-making skills. Whether you’re designing belts, bags, or tooling layouts, this class will help you build confidence in the design stage and speed up your workflow. No prior Inkscape experience needed — just bring your creativity and get ready to learn!

Workshop Instructor: Brandon Corral, known as Swift on the internet, is an award-winning leather artist. Having dedicated the past third of his life to leathercraft, Brandon has found a focus on leather tooling and has made it a staple of his career. Having taught marketing for the past two years, his focus has now expanded to also include spreading the knowledge of the subtle art of detailed tooling.
