Workshop Description: In this workshop you will be making a classy, bucket-style purse with a drop-in liner and grommet strap connectors. You will learn how to construct a professional-quality handbag by learning how to reduce the bulk in seams, turn raw edges, and create a fabric liner with a great fit. We will discuss leather options for giving this bag structure without excess bulk, fabric options for the liner that easily wipe clean, and other materials for bag construction that will help your understanding in bag making and design. You will go home with a complete purse and pattern to make future products for your customers. {You’ll be using COBRA Class 20 and 26 sewing machines, a COBRA burnisher, and the COBRA NP4 bell knife skiver; if you are interested in purchasing COBRA equipment at the show, call Leather Machine Company by May 1 to pre-order at +1 (866) 962-9880. Deposit required.}
