Workshop Description: Build a Chap Purse with Julie while learning some skills you never thought you needed to know! This bag is 12″ wide x 14″ long, and includes all of the leather and hardware. You will learn a bit of layout and design along with how to install an interior pocket. This handbag is a flat style with no gusset. If you have ANY questions at all, please give me a holler! The colors will be exactly like the ones in the photo. You will go home with a template and full instructions on how to build this style of handbag! NO REFUNDS for this workshop will be given after May 1, 2026. {You’ll be using COBRA Class 20 and 26 sewing machines; if you are interested in purchasing COBRA equipment at the show, call Leather Machine Company by May 1 to pre-order at +1 (866) 962-9880. Deposit required.}
Materials to bring: Large cutting mat, cutting tools of choice, skiving tool, tape measure or a measuring grid of some kind, flat hammer, double-sided tape, straight edge for cutting fringe, and leather scissors.

Julie hopes that her open-minded, positive, and fun teaching style helps you to learn more techniques and efficient methods than you ever imagined! Don’t be surprised if she gets excited when you make a mistake; she’ll teach you how to stay calm and fix it!
