Workshop Description: This Backpack/Sling bag is so versatile and fun! It can be used as a sling bag on either side and it has a zipper on each side for easy access. It also has an exterior back zipper pocket and in interior zipper pocket. The straps are made with a long zipper in the center and can be divided to use the bag as a Backpack! The bag is completely lined. We will be doing the quilted boot stitch if you want or it can be left without the stitching. It is the perfect size too! There are lots of great tips in this bag that you can take into your other bag making endeavors! {You will be using the COBRA Class 18; if you are interested in purchasing COBRA equipment at the show, call Leather Machine Company by February 1 to pre-order at +1 (866) 962-9880. Deposit required.}
Materials to bring: Wonder clips, ruler, fabric glue, 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch double sided tape, 1/8-inch hole punch and rivet setter for double-capped rivets, surface to punch holes on, poly roller, cobbler’s hammer or rubber mallet, scissors, pen, pencil, and straight pins for sewing.
Workshop Instructor: Serina Lee started her leather career slowly in 2009, doing a bit more each year. She was self taught until she attended the Southwest Leather Workers Trade Show in Prescott in 2015, where she learned many great things from so many wonderful instructors! After attending the show, her leather world really took off! I no longer felt alone in the leather world and it was a great feeling! Serina does primarily custom orders in her leather shop. She is married to Larry of 36 years, has 3 adult children (with in-laws), and 8 beautiful grandchildren. She lives on their small ranch in Central Ca. For fun and relaxation Serina loves to spend time with grandkids, going to their sporting events, visiting family in other states, trail riding, loving on animals and woodworking!
