Workshop Description: Everyone can learn new techniques! Join us to review leather casing, carving and stamping techniques, proper pattern layout, and more. We will carve a 6″ x 8″ panel suitable for a notebook cover, with printed instructions provided. Demonstrations, discussions, and individual instruction provided. Patterns provided for all skill levels, or bring your own patterns for review. Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn!

Materials to bring: Marble stamping surface, swivel knife, maul, stamping/carving tools, tracing stylus, spray bottle or sponge & water dish, notebook, and a pencil.

Workshop Instructor: Nancy Martiny is a 35 year saddle maker and 50 year leather carver. She has learned, and continues to study, with the best to improve her work and help others. She works from her home ranch studio in Idaho.
