Workshop Description: Before she discovered the joys of leatherwork Annie Libertini was a painter with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting. In this one day workshop Annie will bring her painting knowledge to you, covering color mixing, application techniques, and everything else you need to know to create beautiful color and depth in your leatherwork. We will be painting on leather in the workshop in order to focus on the specific challenges that leather presents as a painting surface.
Materials to bring: Notebook, pencil/pen, artist’s palette, paintbrushes in a variety of sizes (fine detail brush and flat brushes in sizes 1/8″, 1/4″, 1/2″, and 1″).
