Workshop Description:
The beveler is one of the fundamental tools of leather tooling, but knowing which beveler to use and how to use it properly can make all the difference. In this hands-on class, Brandon “Swift” Corral breaks down what a beveler does, how it works, why different bevelers exist, and how to choose the right one for the job. You’ll learn the fundamentals of walking a beveler, developing consistent depth and smooth transitions while following the curves and contours of your design. Through guided practice, you’ll learn how to control the tool instead of simply chasing a line around the leather. By the end of the class, you’ll put those skills to work creating a finished piece of art, giving you a practical understanding of what bevelers are for and how to continue practicing at home. You’ll leave with your very own bevelers.

Materials to bring: All materials will be provided.
