Workshop Description: Three hours of hands on, AI for leathercraft! As a group we will use AI to learn by doing—no lectures, just creating together. Generate design concepts for bags belts and patterns with prompts iterating and editing in real time as a group. Solve practical calculations like bullet loop lengths, pattern scaling, and leather estimates by prompting AI on your own tricky problems. Create simplified tooling and carving patterns from references, turning ideas into usable line art. Explore quick extras like color suggestions marketing ideas and project brainstorming through live prompting.

Materials to bring: Pen, notebook, and snacks.

Workshop Instructor: As a lifelong artist, Daniel Reach has dabbled in just about everything, but the two niches that have inspired his creative side more than any others are leatherworking and airbrushing. In his early 20s, he apprenticed under one of the top 10 airbrush artists in the world. During that time, he taught dozens of classes and showed hundreds of students how to airbrush. As a leather artist, Daniel is a Master Leather Craftsman, and a multi-award winning artist who teaches on two YouTube channels, including Weaver Leather Supply and The LeatherVerse.
