Workshop Description: Are you tired of your kids dragging you to the booth with the little hand sewn animal dolls, only to see your face drop when they hear the price? No longer! In this workshop for parents AND kids, you and your child(ren) will collaborate on a project, spend quality time, learn to work with soft chrome tanned leathers and leave with their very own handcrafted sea creature. With a variety of patterns to choose from and a selection of colorful leathers,
you and your little one(s) will be cutting out patterns, threading needles, and hand sewing using glover’s needles. WARNING Glover’s needles are diamond point and sharp enough to sew through leather without pre pricking holes. It can cause bleeding when fingers get pricked. For that reason, every child present MUST have a designated adult with them for the entirety of the class.
Materials to bring: You will need to bring leather scissors or a knife, a silver pen, and patience to help your little one get through the project.
