Product Description

In this workshop you will build a beautiful wrist cuff to wear. Freddie will demonstrate and teach his unique technique of hand applying a sunburst fade. Freddie created this method to mimic the look of an airbrush without the messy cleanup. This technique is perfectly suited for any leather project that would benefit from a rich, custom patina, right out of the gate! Perfectly centered on this cuff will be a beautiful gaucho braid that you’ll learn how to execute. There are a few ways to accomplish this braid, but Freddie will teach the method best suited for wrist wear. All aspects of fine, clean, and efficient leatherworking will be on display, including tool selection, step sequence and using intuition. Along with making this beautiful cuff, Freddie will answer all questions related to making wristwear and leatherwork in general. He’s looking forward to welcoming you to his workshop!

Materials to bring: Cutting board, leather knife, a couple of small hole punches (including a 1/8”), maul/mallet, lacing fid or scratch awl, and an edge beveler.
