Workshop Description: Gabor’s drawing method is easy to understand and master, even if it’s your first time ever with a pencil and a piece of paper! You don’t have to show up with any kind of experience, or even talent – it’s guaranteed that you will leave with a good understanding of the structure of Sheridan scrolls!
Materials to bring: A4 Notebook/drawing paper, mechanical pencil (preferably 0,7 size with HB lead), highlighter, pen/pencil (thin point black sharpie or soft color pencil with sharpener), and an eraser.
Workshop Instructor: Gabor Pinter is a leather artist and graphic designer. He started leatherwork in his father’s saddle shop in Hungary, where leather carving knowledge was hard to come by, until he got Al Stohlman’s Figure Carving booklet as a Christmas present. Educating himself from books and later from social media groups, he finds it extremely important to try and pass on his knowledge to the younger generations. Gabor is the author of Sheridan Style Floral Drawing, Issue #01. Gabor speaks English and Hungarian.
