Workshop Description: Immerse yourself in the world of creating likenesses in leather. Together with Karin, you will make a portrait of Rembrandt van Rijn, the most famous painter in the Netherlands. Karin will show you tips and tricks and different techniques on how to make this legend in leather. There will also be instruction on adding color to the finished work so that you go home with a completed portrait.

Materials to bring: Notebook and pen, stamping stone, mallet, stylus, swivel knife, strop, modeling tool, smooth bevelers, small pear shader, background tool, and a good brush (size 2).

Workshop Instructor: Karin has been a leather crafter for more than 35 years. She loves all aspects of leather crafting, but portraits are her favorite. She spends much of her time giving workshops all over The Netherlands.
