Workshop Description: Join Lea on an adventure and dive into the world of movies, theatre and costumes! In this workshop, she will show you different dyeing and coloring techniques to make your leather items look as if they survived medieval battlefields, rides through the desert, or a century on the high seas. It’s also a great workshop for anyone who likes to restore vintage leather items or just wants to add a bit of a used look to their next project.
Materials to bring: Notebook and pen; all other materials will be provided.
Workshop Instructor: Lea Wagner found her passion in leather craft early in life during her university studies in Germany and decided to follow her dream of becoming a full time leather crafter. After three years of apprenticeship at a workshop and attending a professional saddlery school, she started to create leather art and specializes in fantasy and historical costumes and custom-designed items for movie and theatre.
