Tooling Along with Gordon

Gordon Andrus

Wednesday, May 16, 8 am - 5 pm

W208, Sheridan Community College

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

The focus in this new, hands on, workshop teaches the leather worker to think of the floral stamping tools as modeling tools to gain a smoother, three-dimensional quality in their tooling. Workshop attendees will work right along with Gordon as he coaches them on the details and techniques for each of the tools used in leather tooling. Some of the tools will be new to many students. Leather donated by Hermann Oak Leather Co.

Materials to Bring: Swivel knives, stamp tools, mallets or mauls, note taking materials. Some tools will be provided where needed. Cameras welcome.
