Nature Flow Infinity Twin Panel

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

 In this 2 day workshop you will tool and sculpt the panel in a more ‘natural flow’ design, and stamp a curved basketweave in all the surrounding ‘window’ areas. On day 2 you will use Ed’s “Nature Colors” coloring process to color the center section and use shading and blending of colors on the curved basketweave areas. Materials donated by Hermann Oak Leather Co.

Materials to Bring: Maul/mallet, an assortment of bevelers, pear shaders and thumbprints, P206, P208, P367 (or similar), 2 styluses (for drawing veins), petal lifters, background tools, swivel knife, strop, a stamping surface, brushes and a palette.

Ed ”BearMan” LaBarre’s first connection with leather was in 1967 at age 13, in the leathercraft shop at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. He later worked at McLelland’s Saddle Shop in Florida and learned from Bob Dellis, who encouraged Ed to make tools. His son, Beary, now runs BearMauls.
