Diane Scalese

Diane began engraving in 1986. She admits it was a steep learning curve, as there were no other engravers around. After a number of years bright-cutting, Diane began engraving a few firearms. In 2000, she joined the Firearms Engravers Guild of America, and in 2001 was awarded Master Engraver status. In 2002, she was asked by GRS to teach a few engraving classes. She teaches several classes each year at GRS and has also taught and demonstrated in Italy, Germany, Belgium, and Denmark. Besides bits, spurs, and buckles, Diane engraves watches, firearms, knives, and jewelry.
