Skill Level: All skill levels welcome!

The only two tools you’ll need for this workshop are a swivel knife and a modeling spoon. After transferring the outline to leather, create relief and contrast in the leather’s surface using only these tools. Learn how to get a deep burnish and realistic rendering of this majestic bird, quietly. You’ll want to make this over and over. This project transfers well to notebooks, albums, book covers, and of course, wall decor. In the afternoon, Jim will demonstrate how he adds color for a different look and use.   Materials for this workshop provided by Hermann Oak Leather Co.

Materials to Bring: Swivel knife and a modeling spoon. (Okay, bring a strop, too!)
